Term 4 blog

In kahikatea team we have been doing carving,road patrol,senior athletics and lower wipa.
 In road patrol you had to sigh up and get chosen to be in I was one of them.Constable  riburn came and taught us how to do it properly.In carving you had to sigh up to get in I was one of 9 students to go my teachers name was matua pita it was lots of fun.

This term I have been doing Speeches,Science.I did Speeches first it was fun but hard at the same time I found that a five year old kid shot his dad in the foot with a slug gun because he was too young.I put that in my Speech.I have enjoyed Science the most because it was challenging and I love challenging things.I have reached my reading goal which is 10-11 by practicing every night .I have reached my math goal by practicing in my in my own time.

This term I have been doing science for 6 weeks we had the chance to pick a topic and explain it to the class and show them how it works some people had to do it at home because it is to dangerous if you want to watch myn click below water rises my topic was why cold water goes to the bottom the hot water rises it did not work but it was still cool hears a picture of it it looks cool ay /awesome

Production

Practicing for production is fun but it is hard.Two people started crying  because it was so hard.I thought it was easy learning the moves was the hardest part.Mrs Strathern cept telling at us 123 123 123 THE COUNT IS 123 123.




On the night it was scary but I got over it realy quickly I feel sorry for the mane carictors.I was a fish.We had to learn 5 dances it was about books the nz group was my fave because the nacinal anthoim was in it.

In room 8 we have been making A slide presentation about YouTube and cyber safety. We have learnt that YouTube can help you with learning and school work. Cyber safety means that you need to keep a good digital footprint around the world, because we you get a job it will affect your career in the future. 100% of  bosses in the world look up your name on the internet to check if you are right for the job.It could wreck your chances of getting the job. We also learnt about viruses and pops ups. And a little bit on what is on YouTube.
